Christmas display 2024

We’re looking forward to putting on our annual Christmas display again this year and gymnasts will be beginning to learn their showcase pieces over the coming weeks. We hope you will join us.

The display is an opportunity for all our gymnasts to be part of something magical, for you to see them perform, all whilst helping us fundraise for the club.

How can I get involved?

In order for us to make this happen, our committee need more volunteers to get involved. We need help with the following:
  • Moving kit from the gym to the sports hall on the Friday evening and setting up the hall
  • Serving refreshments
  • Taking entry fees and selling raffle tickets
  • Creating Christmas themed hair for the gymnasts
  • Packing away, moving kit back to the gym

You can sign up to help via the button below. We require at least 10 adult volunteers for both the set up and pack down for this event to continue. Please sign up by the end of November so we can continue with our plans.

How do I sign my gymnast up?

We hope all our gymnasts will want to take part in this fundraising event. It’s a great opportunity for them to showcase their gymnastic abilities, see others in action too, and makes for a great family day out. Please register your gymnast(s) via the link below. Please also let us know on the booking form how many spectators you’ll be bringing so we can ensure seating for all.

Sign up deadline: 7th December

What should gymnasts wear?

All gymnasts should:
  • Wear a black leotard. Black shorts may also be worn if the gymnast wishes (as detailed on the uniform page).
  • Tie back long hair.
  • Not wear jewellery.
  • Arrive on time, ensuring that they have the appropriate warm up time.

Tell me about the hair salon!

This has been very popular in past years. Our team provide a special hair do with plaits, tinsel and glitter spray. Please arrive early if you wish to make use of this service.

Tell me about the refreshments!

There will be tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash available, all for a donation. We will also have sweet bags available.

Fudgin' Shell Brownies will be available, with a donation of profits being donated to TGC.

Parents/carers remain responsible for their own gymnast's allergies.

Tell me about the raffle!

The committee always do a fabulous job gathering prizes from the local businesses in and around Tetbury. If you are able to donate a raffle prize, please send it along to any gymnastic session.

Can I donate a raffle prize?

Yes please!

Wacky week was so popular for the club competition that we’re bringing it back! For one week only, gymnasts can come in non-uniform in exchange for bringing a raffle prize, these will be made into hampers.

Safety is still important, so permitted clothing are leotards in any colour, shorts, t-shirts (long enough to be tucked in and stay in) and leggings. Hair may be wacky colours, provided it’s still tied back safely. Jewellery and other accessories are still not permitted.

Dates to be wacky are:
  • Saturday rec & development - 7th December
  • Monday early & late - 9th December
  • Squad - Tuesday 10th December
  • Thursday early & late - 12th December
