What you need to know when visiting us for the first time ...
Dear parent/carer,
We're looking forward to welcoming your child/ren to their trial session at Tetbury Gymnastics Club. In order for them to find us and enjoy the session safety, please read the following.
Finding us
We train in the gym at Sir William Romney school. This is part of the main building.
Follow the path towards the leisure centre and then follow it round to the right, through the green fence gate, with the astro turf on your left and the main building on your right. You will walk past the gym windows. At the end of the path turn right, around the corner. The door we use is on the right hand side. Please wait outside for the lead coach to let you in.
What to wear
If your child has a leotard then please wear this for the trial session. If not, they can wear close fitting shorts and t-shirt. We don't expect anyone to purchase a leotard for the trial, please wait and ensure they enjoy the session before spending money on this.
Jewellery and watches are not allowed and long hair should be tied up.
Please bring a water bottle (clearly named). We have no access to cold water.
Other information
Parents/carers don't usually stay for the session as we find the gymnasts are more involved without the distraction of their parents/carers, but let one of the coaches know if they are worried or anxious about being left.
What happens next?
After your trial, we will email you to find out if you child has enjoyed the session and would like to become regular gymnasts with the club. This email will include a link to book sign them up if they wish to continue. This includes entering your payment details. You will be able to sign up to British Gymnastics membership and Tetbury Gymnastics membership at the same time.
Please don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions.
