Your trial session

What you need to know when visiting us for the first time ...
Dear parent/carer,

We're looking forward to welcoming your child/ren to their trial session at Tetbury Gymnastics Club. In order for them to find us and enjoy the session safety, please read the following.
Finding us
We train in the gym at Sir William Romney school. This is part of the main building.

Follow the path towards the leisure centre and then follow it round to the right, through the green fence gate, with the field on your left and the main building on your right. You will walk past the gym windows. At the end of the path turn right, around the corner. Please wait for the lead coach to let you in.
What to wear
  • If your child has a leotard then please wear this for the trial session. If not, they can wear close fitting shorts and t-shirt. We don't expect anyone to purchase a leotard for the trial, please wait and ensure they enjoy the sessions before spending money on this.
  • Jewellery is not allowed and long hair should be tied up.
  • Please bring a water bottle (clearly named).
Other information
Parents don't usually stay for the session as we find the gymnasts are more involved without the distraction of their parents, but let one of the coaches know if they are worried or anxious about being left.
What happens next?
After your trial, if you child/ren would like to become regular gymnasts with the club, let us know and we will forward you the relevant paperwork including an invoice. British Gymnastic membership will also need to be in place before they can continue.

Please don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions.
