Club competition 2025 - routines

Below are the routines for the 2025 competition and a video to allow gymnasts to see what they should look like. All routines should start and finish with a present.

Recreational gymnasts - Floor and beam routines, and vaults

Recreational gymnasts - year of birth 2020 & 2019

Floor
Present
Start: straddle sit, stretch arms
Sweep legs to kneel
Onto 1 knee, then stand
Arabesque (hold for 3 seconds)
3 skips
Forward roll to pike sit
Pike fold (hold for 3 seconds)
Rock and roll to stand, stretch arms
Bunny jump, star jump (linked)
Tall pivot turn
4 side gallops (2 each side)
Down onto 1 knee, circle arms
Finish sitting on 1 bent leg, 1 straight leg, stretch
Present
Blue beam
Step on and stretch tall
Dip steps
H balance (hold for 3 seconds)
Stretch jump
Flamingo steps
Tuck jump dismount
Vault (springboard & long red block)
Squat on
Walk on tip toes along

Recreational gymnasts - year of birth 2018 & 2017

Floor

Start: on 1 knee, circle arms, stretch 1 arm
Splits  or any flexibility move (hold 3 seconds)
Rock and roll to stand
Hair sweep
Arabesque (3 seconds)
3 tip toes
Forward roll to stand (BONUS backward roll)
Rainbow turn
Cat leap, star jump (linked)
3 side tap toes
Half spin, pivot turn (linked)
3 skips
Finish: down onto 1 knee, circle arms, stretch 1 arm
Present
High beam
Star mount
Cat leap, stretch jump (linked)
Circle arms to crouch, straddle beam
Star sit
V-sit (3 seconds)
Swing to crouch, stand
3 tip toe steps
Tall pivot turn
Step sideways to star stand & complete turn
Flamingo steps to the end

Recreational gymnasts - year of birth 2016 & 2015

Floor

Start: sitting, 1 leg bent, 1 leg straight, stretch arm
Sweep arm, rock and roll to stand
Any balance (hold for 3 seconds)
Hair sweep
Double cartwheel, step feet together
Rainbow turn
Forwards roll, hands down in front and jump feet backwards to front support (BONUS backwards roll to front support)
Turn to lie on back or thread
Bridge or any flexibility
Roll to front, burpee
2 chasse
Half turn cat leap, straight jump (linked)
2 side gallops
Full spin
Finish: pose

Front support star mount (BONUS squat or straddle on)
Cat leap, tuck jump
Sweep over foot
Crouch, straddle beam
Held star shape (for 3 seconds)
V-sit (hold for 3 seconds)

3 backwards steps
