Club clothing

At Tetbury Gymnastics Club, we have a uniform requirement for our training sessions, to ensure an equitable and safe training environment. We also have club leotards that our squad and development gymnasts will be provided with when attending external competitions. And finally, we have the very funky, TGC hoodie that any member, including parents, may purchase if they wish.

Training uniform

Why do we have a club uniform?
At Tetbury Gymnastics Club, we have an equitable uniform requirement. ​By asking all our gymnasts to train in the same clothing, this ensures that everyone attending our sessions feels comfortable in the club environment. No one stands out due to better or more expensive clothing. This increases self-confidence and unifies the group. Everyone is on the same platform, regardless of economic status. By wearing our club kit, this also helps ensure gymnasts are suitably dressed so that our coaches can ensure their health and safety throughout the session.
What is the club uniform?
  • Gymnasts are expected to train in black leotards (boys and girls).
  • Gymnasts may also wear suitable shorts (black).
  • Jewellery must be removed and left at home.
  • Friendship bracelets also need to be removed.
  • Hair long enough to be tied back needs to be please. Ideally into a plait or two, with a hair band at top and bottom to secure it.

Drinking water
Gymnasts should bring a drinks bottle with them, more than one for our longer sessions. The only water available to us is warm, so please ensure you have your own supplies. Having access to drinking water is essential when training.

TGC Hoodies

We love our TGC hoodies, which can be ordered in your favourite colour, giving our club a vibrant feel. We place an order with our supplier once a month, with the deadline for orders being at the end of the month. ​Hoodies are then handed out to your gymnast at the next session after they arrive with us. 

​To place an order, complete the order form and pay the relevant costs to the usual TGC bank account.

Both style of hoodie will be printed with the Tetbury Gymnastics Club logo on the back.

Competition leotards

Our club competition leotards are loaned to our squad and development gymnasts when they enter competitions or put on displays. 

​IMPORTANT: Parents/carers should not wash these before returning them. We do this as a club to ensure they are kept in tip top condition.

Tracksuits

We have a few of our old style tracksuits available if anyone would like one. We ask for a donation for these towards club funds. Please visit our Facebook TGC Clothing buy, sell, swap group to see what sizes are available and request any specific items.
